Every home is different, every host is different - it is the opposite of staying in a hotel where you know exactly what the room will be like and what the meals will be. Your hosts may be a young couple, a family with children or a retired person. Often the journey from homestay to school will be 20 minutes but some places are a little more. You will be like everyone else, travelling on the bus or underground from home to central London.
