We will test you on your first day and then place you in a class with students of a similar level. On this course you will concentrate on everything you need to be better at English and move to the next level. Most classes will use a course book and extra materials prepared by the teacher.

On this course you will also have 10 hours per week of relaxed discussion on a range of British books and films. We will show you short bits of films and also look at passages from books which are of particular cultural interest. This is not an academic university course but an informal way of practising English without feeling like you are studying.
